- 2 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 4 t. baking powder
- 2 tb. fat
- Enough milk or water to make a soft dough
Sift and mix the dry ingredients. Cut in the fat, using one or two case knives. Add the liquid gradually until a dough is formed. Toss out onto a floured board. Roll to one-half inch thickness ; cut in rounds and bake 10 to 15 minutes in a hot oven.
